Explosive/Powerful Hip-flexors

Hey, I know that powerclean and plyometrics are good ways to work on explosiveness in the hip flexors, but what are some other lifts that can improve these?

Hang Cleans, push press, squat jumps, to name a few.

I'm not a big fan of hang cleans or jump squats, hang cleans seem to use too much of your back and not enough hip, (thats my problem of course for wrong form ect.) and I heard jump squats can be bad for your back and knees.

I do push press though

Jump squats are typically only an issue for your knees if you perform the knee bend portion of the exercise at great than a 90 degree knee bend. If you have a developed core, I wouldn't worry too much about the impact on your back.

Sled/parachute-based running and training may be useful here too.

Alright, yea I can see how sleds would work those muscles, and that's good cause its already part of my running workouts = )
