Exhausted

I am 5'1 and weigh 170 pounds. I always write I weigh a few pounds more because I am afraid I will weight 170 tomorrow.
Just an example of my personality type.

When I am tired I tend to eat more. I want to be in control of my life. When I am not in control it is difficult. Today I planned to work out and do a specific thing at the gym. I did go to the gym, but I did not do my planned workout. I quickly get into a black and white mentality. I am trying to live in the gray. When I think black and white I must either working out like I planned or there is not need to work out at all. I am trying to remind myself to listen to my body. It is okay to work out a little less today if I am tired. I get scard that I will never have another good work out. This is not true. I can rest today, and I will feel like working out again.
Also, it was my goal to put my food in Fit Day, I did not do that today either. I will make that goal again for tomorrow. Thanks for listening.
It is comforting to know there are other people out there.

Start a diary and hang out here for awhile. We like the gray area around here!
 
I can definitely relate:) Especially with the fitday part. Being a perfectionist is tough on a person. I know personally, I get really down on myself when I don't 'fully' accomplish something - I've dropped many a journal because I missed a day's entry:(

You however, seem to be on the right track in that you're 'resetting' your goals and looking forward to a new, possibly 'better' day tomorrow:)

Warm Feeling

I was kind of skeptical of joining the message board. My fiance insisted that I do it. As usual he was right.
The messages I got in response to my first posting was very motivating.
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my message.
By the way I did not make my goal of putting my food in fitday on Tuesday, butttt I just finished putting it in today- Wednesday.

Thanks again for the encouragement.
