Exciting times after weight loss.

What are you looking forward to doing once you lose the weight? Is there something that you can't wait to do or are really excited to do after the weight is gone?

I look forward to being able to go run at the track with no shirt on (and thus getting all the ladies attention) lol, superficial? maybe. Is it motivation? big time.

I look forward to having no insecurities about my body, I think life will be so different and I can't wait, another one of the main things that has kept me motivated for so long.

On the flip side, someone mentioned to me, "just think of all the years you've added on to your life by dropping the weight!", and well... I didn't get excited about that thought, I dunno if I wanted to live past 65 to begin with...

1. Buy an truly nice suit, that will look good on my "athletic build".

2. Opposite direction: vacation at Hedonism II...

3. Tattoo on bicep/shoulder/chest. Art is only as good as the canvas...

Yeah, gotta agree with the suit, and tattoos. I wanna get some Ta Moko done.

Also, I plan to do a bungee jump, and sky dive.

I don't think that superficial reasons for losing weight is shallow. Doing normal tasks like taking your shirt off while you run or wearing a bathing suit to the beach is normal for most people. So it will definitely be nice to do "normal" things and not feel uncomfortable doing it.

I can't wait to get a pair of killer skinny jeans and some dangerous boots or high heels. Obvioulsy I can wear jeans and heels right now, but it makes me so uncomfortable and insecure, that it's not worth even attempting.

The beach is a also a big one. I live on the east coast, so swimming/beaching in the summer is very common. Even as young as 8 years old I dreaded the beach because I was the fattest in my family.

Basically it's just freedom to do whatever I want without having to question if my weight will stop me either physically or mentally.

I have heavy bottom, I dont like my " elephant " thigh, and now am working to slim it and if I succeed , the first thing I'll do is go and buy myself mini skirt and shorts ,I admire those who can wear mini skirt and shorts whenever they like it and show off their beautiful slim leg. I will to one day .... :)

I will buy clothes at The Gap and Abercrombie.

of course I might return them the next day, not really my style of clothes. I Knew I was getting fat when I put on a large shirt at The Gap and it made me look like santa clause in a polo (I have the typical Irish belly).

Oh and smile when I see myself in the mirror!:cheers2:

1)Swim with my kids at the community pool...and not feel like Shamu! The whale at seaworld for anyone not familiar with the name.

2) Maybe do some fitness vacations. There are bike/hike Europe packages, or hike nova scotia... I don't know, live instead of just surviving?!?!

I always wanted to lose weight and get a boudoir photo taken for my husband. But he ran off with someone else (who weighs more than me) so there goes that idea.

"More" magazine has a beauty contest every year for women over 40. If I lose enough, maybe I'll enter.

Start more intense weight lifting sessions. (I'll probably be 14 or 15 by the time I reach my goal. [22.5 bmi or 150lbs]) Make sure I have great stamina. (If im down to 150lbs or 22.5bmi, and I can't run 2 miles without stopping...I'd do some SERIOUS stamina training.) I'd swim and tan. ALOT. Without my shirt. (A first) And the following summer, I'll sign up for detasseling.

I want to get a professional photoshoot done. I like taking pictures, but I've always hated them because I think I look so bad in them.
I'm hoping that my overall attitude will change. I'm pretty self-conscious and have very few friends because of it. :/ *dork* I think, though, as time goes on and I keep losin', my confidence will go up! :D
...and the typical shopping spree plan.

Most exciting thing for me would be to be able to go to the beach, take my shirt off and be comfortable. I hate being the guy wearing a shirt at the beach.

One thing I always looked forward to was being able to wear white or light colored shirts without worrying that my man-boobs and gut were too obvious, so I always wore really dark or black shirts. Recently I've been able to feel comfortable in light shirts, and I even am wearing large now instead of xl

Buy clothes that fits properly. No body type is the same, so non-tailored clothes are always iffy, but with us bigger guys its just aweful.

One of the things I am determined to do once I make it down to my goal weight is sky-diving. Always wanted to do it, but so far I was too fat for it. Also, I will probably hit every theme park in the country and ride rollercoasters until I :puke:

Buying clothes in regular sizes of the shelf will be nice as well. And going on a plane and not having people give me the 'please don't sit down next to me!' look.

What I'm really excited to do once I lose the weight is march my happy, lighter, ass down to a recruiting office and sign my upcoming years away to the Navy Reserves.
