Sport Epsom Salt

Since epsom salt raises magnesium levels, could this help with sleep? I'm not 100 percent positive, but i remember reading magnesium helps with quality sleep. I know epsom salt raises testosterone levels, and is a great recovery method, but could this also help with sleep?

Well yes, epsom salt would raise magnesium levels, as epsom salt is magnesium sulfate.

Magnesium is an essential mineral. Not enought can cause irregular heart beats, high blood pressure and muscle spasams. So yes, in a way it may help you sleep.

Magnesium sulfate also speeds up recovery time. Tho I prefer to use it in the morning before a workout, rather than after.

Interestingly Magnesium Sulfate has been nicknamed "Epsom Salt" because it was an English farmer who discovered it, from Epsom, which is about 30miles from where I live.

Ok so its not that interesting.

You would need calcium with it.

I personally like B complex for sleep.
