Here's a published study on the ECA stack. All the information you need should be in this paper.
Some things to note about the above paper. It was writen in 2001 and sites sources from 2003 ????
Also in 2001 the ECA stack was in its hayday. There are some potential problems with using eca if you have high blood presure and or heart issues not to mention the sleep issues that can arise.
I am not saying not to use it as I have used it successfully in the past and will use it in the future if the need arises but there can be problems with it. I don't think it should be banned as it has been in the US but I live in canada and we can still get it here.
Good luck on whatever you decide. The other thing to note is the products mentioned in this report no longer contain any form of ECA stack. Also the mentioning of products makes me question the source of the report as well.
Anyway its a good worth wild read and good luck
One more thing that is not mentioned in the study is the appetite suppressing effect that stack has. In Humans it is thought that the suppressing effect is what is responsible for weight loss more so then the stimulant effect. It is thought that this is why it is successful in some and not others.
When using it personally I take a small dose of ephedrine about half (small incomparison to what most articles and people in favour of eca suggest) with a daily dose asprin and can of diet soda. For the first month or so doing that 3 times a day really keeps my appetite in check and makes it easier to reduse my calories. But it definatly loses its potency over time.
Just taking the ECA stack will not result in any type of quality weight loss it must be accompanied by caloric reduction and exercise expecially if you are looking for long term weight loss.
