Ephedrine/Caffeine?

After reading a post here last week I went out and got some ephedrine and caffeine and started taking it. I was just wondering if anyone else is using this and maybe compare notes?

So far I feel like my energy level is better and my appetite definitely seems less. Of course, that could just be in my head. I've definitely lost weight this week.

Personally? I think you are playing with fire but we went over that last week :)

Well when I was younger and stupider I tried caffiene based diet pills and my heart started to race and flutter. So you know, heart attacks would be a likely outcome.

Well, after one full week of taking this 3 x a day, I've lost a little over 5 pounds. Obviously, there's no way to know how much of an effect it had. But I can see it seems to have made things a lot easier. I'll be curious if it seems to help in the long term.

ECA stacking can be beneficial for that last hard straight to ultimate shreddedness and really getting the vascularity and seperation popping.

But at the weight you are at right now, I'd just forget about it and get everything else in line first (diet, exercise, sleep, etc).

You have no need for this whatsoever.

To be honest, when I've lost the most weight in the past is when I was taking a medium/high dose of caffiene and an aspirin or two shortly before my morning workout. basically, I had more energy (from the caffiene) to work out as well as work harder, and the aspirin helped with the pain tolerance. I don't recommend it for anyone, but I've heard it was a common thing got various groups of people.

I've used ephedrine and other supplements in the past, and though they were great for waking me up in the morning and getting me going on my runs, I didn't notice any specific tie to weight loss. All I ever got from them were heart palpitations, dizziness, sleeplessness and severe irritability/depression. I'd feel great for the first hour and then would feel angry at the world and pissy for hours after.

I agree with the post above about not using these supplements (if at all) until you're very close to your goal weight or trying to lean down even more. I'm not recommending these supplements at all actually, but I do know that these are really intended to help shred the last stubborn pounds. So, with where you're at on your weight loss plan, I'd steer clear from these supplements and get your body used to eating right and exercising. These pills cause unnecessary strain to the heart and they're not really helping you learn the proper components of a healthy lifestyle.
