Ephedrine & Caffeine

Has anyone tried this for weight loss?

Ive been taking it for about a week, doesnt seem to have any effect on me though. Ive tried Zantrex in the past and that gave me so much energy.

Somebody mentioned that you dont need the asprin as I asked about ECA stack on a previous thread.

Do you think I should try asprin with the ephedrine and caffeine??

Thanks xx

personally i don't believe you should be relying on any of it for weightloss. The backbone of your weightloss plan should be a good calorie restricted diet and proper exercise.

If you have this, you should be able to lose weight no problem. It's just my opinion though.

Caffiene is a decent way to help burn calories.

ephedrine on the other hand....I'm not too much of a fan of. Too much risk associated with that one.

As to the question regarding asprin: I have no clue :D

what dosage are you currently using?

the asiprin is not necessary, its used to help prolong the effects of e/c.

Even with an ECA stack, you're looking at an extra 100cals a day burned. Not much. Over time, it helps.

But you also have to take breaks from it. If you stay on a fat burner for months at a time, it'll stop working because your body gets used to having it in the system.

Eca

Hello,

I am a very big fan of the ECA stack. I believe the aspirin is nearly essential to my own fat loss assistance. It is believed to inhibit prostaglandins in order to help lose the weight. I like to think that it is more around 220-250 calories daily.... Which is huge actually. That is, of course - Only if 3 doses daily of 25 mgs each.

Cheers,

Brian

Brian,

I have read research on ephedra and its influences on metabolism. those studies said at a safe dose, which the typical ECA is a safe dose, your best case scenario is 100cals a day extra burned.

ephedra is also an appetitie suppresant, adn with the C gives you extra energy which is helpful when carbs are being restricted on a cutting diet.

Of course, there are always exceptiosn to the rule...'strong responders' to the ECA stack so to speak. but that's not the norm.

i hope i'm not hijacking the thread here, but does the ECA stack do anything directly in regards to fat loss? other than the fact that it burns an "extra 100 calories" or whatever. wouldn't one just be better off eating 100 less calories a day?

i also wondered since it's known as being so effective with obese people when all it does it burn off the equivalent to a glass of milk.. and when "body builders" use it, if their cutting diet is 2500 calories, why not just make it 2400 calories?

i must be missing something

some people are looking for every possible edge to help them along.

plus it boosts your energy levels, which means you're more likely to hit the gym, and hit it hard.

the appetite suppressing qualities help you keep the cutting diet going strong.

I was using the ECA stack in december of 2003 in preperation for a bodybuilding competition. The aspirin caused internal bleeding and I was hospitalized within an inch of my life. I have learned quite a bit since then, including the fact that 1500 people a year die from a similar experience. Just my two cents...

Good luck.

Adam
