ephdrine Hcl

Just wondering what your thoughts where on ephdrine Hcl ?
I brought some recently but haven't taken any yet
Because it says its for nasal decongestant Although i was lead to believe it would aid fat lose
If I decide to use it how should i take it, what with , how often, How long for?
Is It legal?
Any side affects ?
Does it realy work?
I Know its My decision at the end of the day but I do respect your comments

ephedrine hcl is in fact a nasal decongestant. ephedrine is the active compound in ephedra, which is a stimulant, and boosts your metabolism a small amount.

if your diet is PERFECT and your training is PERFECT, and you get plenty of sleep and recovery between workouts, then a fat burner can help you shed the last few stubborn pounds of fat, which is usually what's hiding your six-pack (I know that's your goal from your other posts, and your name).

do keep in mind, that a wicked six pack is genetic. if you don't have the genes for bulging ab muscles, you may never get a six pack, or it may not be prominent unless you are posing the right way.
 
Ephedrine is legal in the UK but needs to be purchased 'over the counter' rather than off the shelf and I think you have to be 18 to buy it.

Side effects aren't severe so long as you stick to the recommended dose and I'd stay away from other stimulants if I were you. I personally can't use Ephedrine as it caused me severe insomnia, the last time I took it for a sinus infection I stayed awake for over 40 hours, it was like torture. Most people don't experience things that severe though
 
i have taken ephedrine for a long time. i have had mixed results with it. one thing it has always done for me is give me more lungs when i am doing sports. i have played competitive hockey for a lot of years. i only usualy use it when i am out of shape, or trying to get back into shape. it just helps give you that little boost.

would i use it for a weight loss tool? no. it used to be a main ingrediant in all fat burning supplements. hydroxycut all those things. then the fda made them take it out because people were popping those pills like candy and it was causing some people to have heart problems, among other things. a lot of the time people think that taking a pill is the key to weight loss. in some cases this can help but its more a mental thing. i have taken a lot of supplments over the years, and the only things that i ever noticed a difference with were ephedrine and glutamine. i will take glutamine till the day i die. it works so well for recovery.

ephedrine has been known to have a wide range of side effects. for me the only things i have ever noticed is that it dehydrates me. so i drink tons of water. i know when i dont drink enough water when i am taking ephedrine because i get a headache everytime i dont drink enough. i also notice that at rest my heart rate is always higher than with out. the other thing is sometimes while on it i have to pee like every 5 minutes for awhile. i attribute this to drinking so much water while working out or train for hockey. so that could be part of it.

if your going to take it as a fat loss supplement, i would suggest not to. becauase i think you will be dissapointed. if your going to take it to get in shape then go ahead. but dont take it for a long period of time. no longer than a month at a time. this is what i have done. i always give my body a break. like i said for me it gives me that extra boost for my lungs/wind when exerting myself. hope this helps. best thing to do is to try it, and see how your body reacts to it. if you dont like it then dont take it again. some of the other guys on here have sad to take the recommended doses. 100% agree. depending on the mg level of the pill, i would not take more than 3 at a time. i have never taken more than 4 in one day, so i would recommend that if your going to do physical activity twice in a day. say once in the morning once at night. take it in the morning and not at night. i am over 200 pounds and i only take three-sometimes four if i am really out of shape. start with 2 at a time, and see how you feel.
