Enlighten me about this supplement

My friend just moved out and gave me his supplement he had been taking. It's called Muscle Juice 2544. It recommends 4 scoops per serving, which is (with milk) 1300 calories and 70 grams of protein! I only weight 150 and I'm 5'11 or so I have only been taking 2 scoops (roughly 600 calories and 35g of protein) directly after workouts. I also take creatine mono. I also have been taking this product to simply get more calories in my system as I have a problem eating all my daily calories sometimes.

Anywayyys, I was wondering what you guys thought of this product as It seems pretty heavy duty.

----------Here's a link providing more info

My goals are to gain muscle and stay as lean as possible at the same time.

it contains a lot of saturated fat.. doesn't have to be bad depending on how the rest of your diet looks. Aside from that, it's an ok supp to get some more kcals into your system. There are several ways of doing it, you can buy this; make your own shake with nuts, seeds, etc; just snack nuts or whatever. It doesn't really matter how you do it since it's just to get kcals. The only thing is, that stuff might not be the most healthy option.

Ya, well... sometimes I feel as though I fall short of my (roughly) 2.8k calorie intake and this thing (if I take half the recommended servings) is 600ish calories as well as 35g of protein. I don't want to take the full 4 scoops because I don't want to gain 15 pounds in 3 weeks like a lot of the people in the reviews have done (I want to try and stay lean and gain muscle slow to keep my toneness) -- Any other thoughts?

I really don't see how eating 1300 calories in one sitting is going to help you out unless this is your prework out meal, especially if you want to stay lean.

The two scoops is a good idea, but I like to break up my meals. You could even break it up into 4 one scoop servings. I try to eat/snack 6 times a day. I usually buy the pre made lower fat shakes, so if I am in a bind I have some quailty protien at hand.

In the morngings I blend in a half a cup of oat meal, cup of 2% milk, 25/30g protien powder and sometimes I add a banana and some peanut butter to the mix. Without the peanut butter this is low fat and has a decent amount of calories.

it's fine as long as you're not worried about the sat fat in it.
