Sport energy supplements in powder form?

Sport Fitness
anyone know if there's such a thing as energy supplements in powder form, like could be added to protein shakes? maybe a mix of stuff like caffeine, ginseng, etc.

creatine :)

no.
creatine repleneshes atp (your bodys main source of energy)

if you need a supplement to wake you up i would first look to your diet

no offense but you're not answering my question, i'm looking for a powder to add a little kick to my protein/meal repalcement drinks. my "diet" is just fine.

i doubt creatine is GOOD for you either. actually though i've never used it, i've heard what incredibly minimal thiings it does for you quickly fade the moment you stop using it.

ok the two main healthy energy supplements are L-arginine & L-taurine. for herbal stuff you got: grape seed extract, green tea leaf extract, ginseng root extract, ginger root extract, bitter orange extract. the amino's up there would be the ones to find in powder form on various web sites, just search on google or somthing. I can explain how they work if you wish but ask so im just not talking to myself here.
where do people come up with thies rumors on creatine? I bet some one just sticks a buntch of made up problems in a hat and draws one every week then goes and tells every moron who can't tie there own shoes without help, about there new discovery. well since creatine has been on the market there has not been one I repeat not one reputable case of creatine causing any health problems.

studies have neither conclusively refuted or proved this claim

however, studies have reftued this claim. it has been proven that for most people it does significantly increase strength. some of the gains do fade, but you hang on the some.

you should try it. you would probably be happy with the results.

Remember that creatine improves muscle energy. Muscle size is a side-effect of being able to lift more thanks to the increased energy. Your muscular energy levels will drop down to normal levels after you ease off creatine, yes, but your muscle size will catabolize as normal - if you stop lifting, you stop growing.

this is a very good point. catabolism does not just suddenly kick into overdrive after decreased creatine intake. there are some size losses due to decreased water retention. if there were any muscle loss it would likely be due to decreased intensity.
