I drink a Red Bull before running(not the small can). Is this harmful or helpful? Someone told me not to do this but I do it anyway because I can run for an 1hr when I am juiced! But let me know if this is harmful...
I don't think it's really harmful, someone else can help on that. I do know that those energy drinks are loaded with sugar, so I'd avoid them. All I ever drink is water. You'd be better served with some oatmeal and a protein shake an hour before your run. That is what I do for lifting and HIIT...
