I only had 1425 calories yesterday. Not as much as I wanted but I just wasn't hungry for my snack after my run. I DID get my 4 mile run in though and burnt a tons of calories. My neighborhood has a bunch of hills that I have to run up so they keep my HR pretty high. I only had 72oz of water which is bad. Today I plan to have 1600-1700 calories and 96oz of water. I will also be running 3-4 miles again.

Everybody in this challenge is really doing a great job. I predict alot of pounds lost by the end of the month!
 
Well I had a totally off track day but I think my body needed it...I didnt exercise for startes so this is the first time in like 3- 4 weeks that I havent exercised daily - well I did hop on the elliptical first thing int he mornign but just 2.5 miles to finish off our walking challenege and htat was all I did - HA HA HA - it was just one of those run outta time days ya know - I had mor eimportant things to do so I did...I also ate out twice yesturday lunch and dinner...lunch was a salad and individual pizza from Boston pizza and dinner was a side salad with crab and shrimpand a bowl of war wonton soup wiht everyhitngin it - WOW - liek everythign...it was so yummy...I even had a crantini and a specialty coffee!!! Total off track day with lots of socializing but I needed it!!! And my weight is still the same:)
 
i would like to get in on it. 4 days til the end of july-i am at 145.5, so my goal for august first will just be a pound and a half. 144.
 
Morning End of July Challenge friends :). I'm stuck at my mom's in another state because my car broke down, so I dont have my own trusty scale. However, based on Friday, I'm not going to reach my challenge weight of 137 by August. It looks like my weight had actually increased by a pound from my ticker weight :rolleyes:.

I did really well on Friday and Sunday (burned 400 calories and ate 1450 on both days), but badly on Saturday (no exercise and ate around 2400 calories). Today I've already burned 400 calories doing interval and high intensity interval training (walking/jogging/sprinting).

I'm going to try to keep it low on the calories today too. I'm still hoping for an end of the month miracle :rolleyes:

How are you all doing on your End of July challenges?
 
I was bad yesterday. I didn't exercise at all and had a huge piece of homemade apple cobbler which is about 500 calories and 90 carbs! A total of 1900, 200 carbs, and 54 grams of fat. I did well on friday with 1425 calories and a 3 mile run. On Saturday I worked out with the trainer for an hour and 15 minutes and had 1700 calories. I am hoping yesterday won't set me back on my progress. I will be weighing myself tomorrow morning to see if I have reached my weight loss goal.
 
I had a really busy weekend! I ate over my normal, which was my intention I'm trying to change up my food intake and gym routine this week as noted in my diary. I have not gained or lost in the past week, which is fine since aunt flo came by on Sunday. UGGG!! I enjoyed this challenge and look forward to more in the future!! Hope everyone else did well or at least met their goals.

Seven days left in the month of July and I want to see 180. I know 3lbs is a bit much to expect out of one week, but I'm going to try for it anyway and see if I can't at least make it to 181.

Things I need to do over the next seven days:
Increase water intake by 32oz.
Keep track of ALL foods eaten including nibbles while cooking.
Keep on schedule for going to the gym.

I'm mad at myself. :mad:
I slacked off on this. I didn't drink the extra water, I didn't keep track of all foods, and Friday I didn't go to the gym. I had a horrible weekend and managed to go back up 2lbs. I know its probably water weight... but its kind of depressing that I can't seem to get out of the 180's.
There's a long rant in my journal if any cares to subject themselves to my boyfriend's mother's destructive attitude in life.
 
1617 calories today, 4 1/2 mile run with 500 calories burned, but didn't drink enough water. I'm going to try to drink at least 4 more glasses (32oz.) before bedtime. I'm going to weigh tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
 
didnt quite make my goals. food wise has been a bit dodgy, and im not quite met my weight goal of 139.? lbs
on a positive note i have lost 7.8lbs this month despite eating badly and am only < 1lb to go till im in the 130`s. hopefully next month if im very good i will reach a bmi of 24.9. slim
 
I beat my goal! I am down 3lbs for this challenge. I guess the thyroid medication is finally kicking in. The only thing is that I didn't drink enough water like I had intended. I will be working onthis for next month's goal.
 
Wow, you all did great!

I'm giving myself til tomorrow morning (8/1) for final results as I still had today as one more July eating day, right? As of tonight I've managed a monthly calorie deficit of 3000. So if I can make another 500 calorie deficit this week, there's a slight though unlikely chance I'll still reach my goal a few days into August. If not I'll have to add the one pound I didn't lose in July to my August goal.

Amy, really truly excellent news! You have worked so hard all these months and deserve to finally get things moving.
 
Awesome everyone - I kinda got a little lost in the shuffle - LOL - Blancita - are you gonna start an August goal thread - I think that would be a great idea:)
 
Yes Cinderelly, I was thinking it would be good if we could do another challenge if interested. This one, believe it or not from my poor results, really did motivate me tremendously. Hopefully by starting earlier I'll actually reach my admittedly modest goal of one pound per month.

I'll start the August challenge in the Club Challenges forum tomorrow and hope to see you all there!

Disappointingly, but to no surprise, I'm ending July being 1 pound higher than my ticker weight of one month ago :rolleyes:.

I was looking at pics of myself from 3 years ago at my goal weight (I posted one in my diary last night) and I'm determined to get back there even if it takes the next year.

I just need to get way more serious AT THE VERY BEGINNING of August and stick with it the ENTIRE month (as opposed to having tons of blips during the middle of the month).

Let's keep this challenge going, I'll post one for August and hope you'll join me!
 
I hear you. I didn't gain, but niether did I lose. But I am like you very determined. I htink it will be easier when I get moved and things settle down!!
