For the past couple years my new years resolution has ALWAYS been to lose weight. This year, I want to reach my goal BEFORE the new year so i can focus on other more important areas in my life to make resolutions about. This challenge is geared towards folks who have around 10 or less pounds to lose. Starting this Sunday (November 27), there will be 5 weeks until January 1st. We can do this, people!!! Start 2012 off with a bang(in' new body)! ;)

My current weight is: 130

My goal weight is: 120

Who's with me???

hehe yes!! my weight this morn was 15 stone (was 16 5) so i want to be comfortably in the 14's by new year :)

AI'm startin a little later than you but I want to be sexy by spring. Need that bikini bod and to be fit and feeling better by the time I get married. (No date yet, but the earlier I have my confidence back the better!)

I started my routine about a week ago. I am down from a size 7/8 pant to a size 5/6 and have noticed my sides trimming out. I am 5'6" and my weight is from 135-140 to the 130-133 range.

I sometimes work out before I eat, but if that's not the case I have an omelette (eggbeaters, spinach leaves, tomato, cheese), a bowl of cheerios or some oatmeal. I have completely cut coffee out of my intake, as well as soda. Lemonade is as sweet and sugary as I'll go.

My daily routine consists of at least 2 of the following:
(Always start with stretches!)
- 15 minutes of constant varied ab workouts. (Sometimes p90x ab ripper)
- A video for a variery of strength and/or cardio (Depends on how much time I have. If I have time p90x yoga, but usually Jillian Michaels 30 day shred.)
- Top it off with half an hour of intense cardio. (Either pushing myself on the exercise bike, or lots of DDR.)
- End with more stretches.

I've also been making tasty shakes for after my workout. Usually ice, a banana, vanilla yogurt, milk, oats, and some chocolate or strawberry weigh powder for protein. An excellent lunch, filling and nutritional! I also started taking a multivitamin and fish oils every day.

It's only been a week but I'm proud of my determination! Been watching portion sizes and passed on most of the holiday sweets. :p So I won't be at my goal come new year's, but I'll be rockin a pair of my new jeans and basking in my progress.

Good luck everybody!
