Question, is it unhealthy to eat four eggs each day?

I raise chickens, so I always have plenty of eggs, and as it happens, I enjoy eating the eggs, so that works out. But how many is too many? If I ate 4 every day, would that be too many?

PS - I usually eat the whole egg, and not just the whites, though, if hard-boiled, the whites are my favorite part...

cool. Cause I can easily do 3 poached eggs on 1 piece of toast for breakfast, then another one hardboiled later in the day... which I can go without the yolk on the hardboiled one.

Well it depends on your current diet and what you're doing. I'm bulking right now, and have about 6 whole eggs and 6 egg whites every day because I wanna get a certain amount of fat in my diet. When I was (loosely) cutting though, it would be about 3-4 egg whites to one whole egg.

It's also pretty important to look at what youre doing as far as exercise...that part is kinda important too;)

as long as the yokes fit in with your protein/fat requirements for the day, fill your boots.

you can eat all the yokes you want providing your not following it up with increasing amount of fats throughout the day. personally i have either 2 yokes + 4 whites or 1 yoke + 3 whites as id like to save some of the fat so i can spread it throughout my day.

1 egg=66% of your cholesterol intake for the day. 6*66%= about 396% of daily intake. That is too much. Also you are overdosing on iron. 2 yokes is borderline as well.
