I could eat up to 12 eggs a week

Now before there was lot of bad stuff written about having too much egg...but reading some magazines like mens health said there ok..

I would have the eggs boiled or scrambled never fried

I eat like 8 eggs a day sometimes... I hope that isn't bad.

So long as they are cooked and the protein is denatured and avidin destroyed they are great. Questions around the cholesterol exist, although it is strongly believed (by those in the know) egg cholesterol has little to no affect on human cholesterol levels.

When you cook(among other means) food containing protein the protein may become "denatured" AKA "protein folding". There is some debate over rather or not protein from eggs is properly utilized in the body unless they have been denatured. Avidin is a chemical that binds with biotin and can quickly lead to a biotin deficiency. Cooking both denatures the egg, and destroys Avidin(along with other possible specific contaminants) at the same time.

Here are three links about "protein folding" you might benefit from.

If you are under 40 and do not have a cholesterol problem eggs are perfectly healthy. In fact some have argued that eggs are the "perfect" food, containing a complete source of protien, as well as the right balance of fats, carbs and vitamins to go with it and you could easily survive eating nothing else but eggs (although I wouldn't recommend it unless it was absolutely necessary). The only possible drawback to eggs is that the yolk contains a pretty high level of saturated fat and cholesterol, which may not be good for people over 40 or with very high cholesterol levels, so you might want to remove half or 2/3 of the yolks if you are going to eat a lot of eggs.

I got this sweet egg with 2 yolks in it once. Made my day, my entire life I might say. I woke my dad up in the middle of the night to tell him. He wasn't as excited.

cool happy enough with that...more eggs for me:)

I think iread once that lance (god) armstrong used to eat 14 eggs scrambled before training and stuff

LOL, you woke your dad up over a double-yolk egg? I could just see some grumpy man looking into the skillet, and stumbling back to bed.

I get those every now and then (double yolked eggs), for some reason they are kind of neat.

haha it was actually more like
"HEY DAD!!! GUESS WHAT?!?!"
"wh-what?"
"I just broke open an egg and it had 2 YOLKS!"
"..........o....k"
"right, well, gnight dad"
"......mehhh"

From May-July of this year I ate 7 whole eggs for breakfast and 4 whole eggs later in the day. I was on a high fat/protein diet with Most carbs postworkout and found my workouts to be great
I worked out after my first meal= 7 whole eggs and a 1/2 cup of blueberries

Whole eggs are great. They have a lot of fat so dont have too many of them if you are going to have carbs in a meal. I am a big beleiver and in keeping fats and carbs in seperate meals

If you consume more cholesterol the body synthesis's less. So dont be fooled by the cholesterol..

I was just about to post and say this to. Since the body can make cholesterol itself, when you eat more of it, the body produces less. Pretty logical if you think about it.
