Sport Egg White Help

Sport Fitness
I normally use Egg Beaters (or another egg substitute) for breakfast, but I found that real eggs are cheaper.

How do y'all separate the egg from the white when you scramble them?

I crack it right in the middle at the widest part, and toss the yolk back and forth between the two shell halves. You get used to it pretty quickly.

Sorry, I don't quite understand...

So you toss the yolk back and forth while dripping the white into the skillet?

Exactly. You are just trying to get as much of the white out, without dropping the yolk.

yep.

and if you lose a yolk into the bowl and don't need it, use clean fingers to gently remove it.
I always do my whites first, in case I break a yolk trying to separate them. not real common, but i'm not exactly 'delicate' at 7am in the kitchen :)

lol, Malk...somehow you and delicate don't seem to go together in my head. I typically just crack the egg and let it fall into my hand and let the white part slip through my fingers. I rarely have any trouble with getting any yolk in the pan.
