I had a go at making my own protein pancakes the other day by modifying a recipe I've had for years by adding in some dates and protein powder.
So it goes:
1 egg
1 Teaspoon Sugar
1 cup flour
6-8 tablespoons Protein Powder
2 Cups of Milk
Chopped Dates
I was wondering, first of all, was it a wise idea to add the dates in terms of nutritional value and second of all what effect does cooking the mixture in a fry pan have on the protein powder?
