HAHAHAHA, he's using SINGAPORE as some sort of "proof" for his argument? Dude, the reason that Singapore doesn't have a high obesity rate is because of their traditional cuisine. It's heavily influenced by Chinese and Indian cooking, both of which are extremely healthy to eat, as they consist of plenty of fresh vegetables, grains and low-fat proteins.
