Eating too little... still exercising hard?

Hello,
I need some advice, I have a good grasp of how to lose weight safely, I have adjusted my food intake and my exercise levels and have lost 25 pounds safely and slowly over the past 10 months.

Now I am in a bit of a pickle:
I have moved to Africa and, as many do, managed to get an intestinal parasite. It is nothing major, I am taking some medicines to get rid of it but it may take a while for my body to go back to its normal hunger and satiety feeling, at the moment I feel no hunger whatsoever, and when I eat I feel full after just a couple of bites. Otherwise I feel fine, I feel strong and happy and have no other symptoms (the diarrhoea, nausea, bloating etc.. have gone, I feel perfectly fine).
Do you think I should refrain from exercising hard, because I am eating very little (I guess anything between 500 and 800 cals a day, way too low!), or should I exercise because I feel fine and feel like exercising?
I am not talking day long hikes, but elliptical machine and swimming for a total of about an hour and a half a day.
Will this hurt my body, lose muscle mass, etc...??

I feel torn because I really want to "use" this state, I mean how many of us have wished not to feel hungry, not having to eat, to lose more quickly? But then I think, what if I hurt myself and cause a massive step back? I have been losing very well in the past few weeks and would love for it to continue this way (although a little more loss in the weeks before christmas and seeing the family and all would certainly not hurt!).

So opinions? thoughts?
Thank you, Camy

I would not exercise hard. It requires fuel. You are not providing your body that fuel. So why do it?

maybe try to eat more anyway? you may not feel hungry because of the meds, but that doesn't mean your body doesn't require the food...obviously don't stuff yourself if it makes you feel uncomfortable...or maybe you could eat foods with a higher amount of calories right now so you can work out. otherwise, i'd just wait til your appetite becomes normal. i'm sure you could get away with walking right now.

From what I have read. you are doing a great job in staying healthy and toned, by exercisig. What you could improve on your diet, would be. having ur biggest meal during morning. morning is when your metabolism kicks in. I also suggest lemon water too. first thing to do in the morning.

u don't need 3 oranges a day. and seriously lay off the junk foods. fry foods. 70 percent of your diet helps ppl lose weight. only 30 % is exercise. so u should eat smaller portions. and eat healthier. drink plenty of water.

stop stressing. sleep earlier. and if possible get a massage. or go to the sauna. sweat the bad stuff out. massaging helps with the circulation. therefore decreases puffiness.

btw. if you had tried eating less and more healty. then why do u say lunch is not always th healthies? listen. bring a pack lunch. buy grocery that last 3 days. that way more control and more insight.

and sometimes if you don't have time for the gym. do daily exercises. like just walking up the stair instead of elvators or escalator.

intense workout gets energy from muscle. get energy from fat by workingout in a pace that you can do for a long time, still talk on the phone and make you sweat. muslce weighs more then fat. maybe ur just increasing muscle instead of losing fat.

hope it works
