eating before running is better

hey guys i have read several threads on here that say it is good to run before eating anything at all. I have also read a book called "the abs diet" it is a great book and I would recommend it to anyone. It says it is very bad to run on an empty stomach because you wont be burning fat, you will be burning muscle. I dont know if this is true but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. It also says that it doesnt have to be a big meal just an apple or so and that you should eat it about 30 minutes before hand.
 
A lot of people suggest running in a fasted state first thing in the morning. I just can't do that because I am hungry when I wake up. And I don't think its good to exercise especially the high impact stuff I sometimes do! So just do what you feel comfortable with and what works for you. Some people do really well with working out in morning.
