Eat dinner after cardio even if not hungry?

When I do cardio (either running or indoor rowing), I almost always do it late in the afternoon before dinner. Generally I'm hungry for dinner after cardio, but normally I'm hungry for dinner even when I don't do cardio, and as far as I can tell, I don't eat more after cardio than I eat on days when I don't do cardio. Often though, I don't feel it necessary to eat dinner between cardio and going to bed. It's not that I feel full or like I wouldn't enjoy eating, but rather that I feel like I could be just as happy skipping the meal and resuming my normal diet with the next morning's breakfast. Also, I feel like I normally get enough nutrients from my breakfast and lunch and don't worry too much about being malnourished from skipping dinner. Skipping dinner (or just eating some nuts or something like that) doesn't seem to have any adverse effect on me. Just wondering though what others think. Is it important to eat after cardio, or, for the sake of weight loss and convenience, I feel like skipping dinner, is that healthy?

I eat based on my hunger. There are times that I am not hungry after a workout and skip a meal. I don't think that's a problem and I certainly don't ever force myself to eat.

Only time I force myself to eat is 3 hours before a long bike ride or race. Not eating after doing cardio shouldn't hurt you, especially if you've eaten well throughout the day.

My suggestion is that its Ok to skip your dinner sometime or say 1 or 2 time in a week, but regularly skipping your dinner will not be good idea for your health in the long run...
If your really not in a mood to have dinner, you can go for fruits instead of taking full meal... dinner tends to regulate your body energy & blood sugar levels. But, many people have found success with not eating in the evenings or after 8-9 pm. Remember if you are feeling to eat something then eat otherwise don't eat.

My advice would be to eat something (healthy), even if it is less than you consider a "meal".
