I know what you mean though...yes, as long as you don't overdo the carbs and eat a clean diet your abs should come out. I personally wouldn't eat much white rice though...I would stick to the brown.
Carbs are your bodys main fuel. wheat, pasta, rice, sugar, cerial they are all carbs. If you didnt have carbs you wouldnt be very energetic. Your taking about the atkins diet and a lot of people died on that.
Carbs are essential. Without carbs... well bad things happen
Just eat healthy carbs as opposed to cake, cookies, white stuff. And don't forget that sweet potatoes are good carbs
To get "abs" you have to have the genetics for it. Not everyone can have the 6 pack look. If you have genetics for it... then eat well and eat enough for your activities, height, weight, TEF, etc.
Oh and workout often. Do a strength training and cardio routine that is kick butt.
In order to have visible abs you must have a very low bodyfat %. If it's carbs your worried about then you should try to utilize them around your training mainly for pre and post workout meals.
you need carbs to workout effectivly to do ab workouts. Just because you feel tired doesn't mean your working anyharder. If your properly fueled you should beable to go longer and more effectivly. People tend to quit workingout beacuse they don't have enough energy to do it anymore. In my opinion the atkins diet, or low carb diets are stupid.
Absolutely. We need carbs for survival. They're a necessity. They will not make your body hide you abs. Your abs will start to show as you lose body fat, which is done through a healthy nutrition program and a solid exercise program, not from eliminating carbs.
