Start your day with lemon juice and honey in lukewarm water; this helps your body to get rid of harmful acids produced by the body.
Pistachio nuts are the perfect snack for the weight-conscious because they’re high in protein, fiber, and healthy fats. Don’t be fooled by the “fat” label, either; the fat in pistachios is unsaturated fat, the brain- and heart-healthy type.

I'm not even going to comment on the lemon juice nonsense anymore, but pistachios, really? One of the highest calorie things you could find? And yes, you need to pay attention to the fat label - even 'healthy' fat will make you pack on the pounds if you have too much of it.

Pistachio nuts...................Are these pista nuts or something other.I got new information that we should not eat breakfast and if we are hungry at that time drink fresh vegetable juice ,eat fruits and salads more. This helps to reduce our weight and diseases also.

No reason not to eat breakfast at all. In fact, if you don't, there's a good chance that you'll end up more hungry later on and overeat. And it's down to the individual anyway. So if you want breakfast, eat breakfast, if not, then not. It's that simple.

The information that you get on a forum is never anything more than the opinion of the other poster... That poster is no more of an expert than you are... They are simply people who post what they think is the case.

Wise people research it and listen to the experience of other people.

Google seems to confirm that pista nuts is the same as pistachio nuts - pista being used as an abbreviation in some countries.

Like all nuts - the fat content (albeit healthy fat) is high so there are a lot of calories in them... They are a perfectly healthy thing to eat if you can slot it into your food plan and bring it in at the right calorie level...

Make no mistake - if weight loss or weight maintenance is a problem for you - you need to be vigilant about quantities that you eat as it can be very easy to eat more calories than would be wise and gain weight. There are a lot of calories in a small handful of nuts so you would be wise to weigh it and calculate the amount of calories that you are "spending" on that snack.

I know that I tend to gain weight if I eat any nuts. If there are a few days of me eating nuts I can gain a lot of weight. Look at the amount of calories in a tiny bag of nuts... Calculate it up if the calories are given on a portion of the bag basis. You will be surprised how high the calorie level is.

Last Christmas, I denied myself a lot of treats but ate nuts... I gained a lot of weight in one week...

As for eating breakfast - most diet experts suggest that people should eat breakfast.

This is what the Mayo clinic have to say on the subject

UK National Health Service

Having said that - the arguments all boil down to whether people go on to manage to keep their calories for the day at the right target level having used the satisfaction that comes from breakfast as a mechanism to keep them away from food.

For me - it boils down to whether I have heavy cardio exercise first thing in the morning... I would feel ill if I tried to dance on a full stomach. It would not work. I always figure that the fact that my metabolism has not been triggered by eating is of little consequence since it will have been triggered by exercise. I do however go on to eat my breakfast later in the day...

It often happens that I eat my meals at non-standard times...

If you want to read more fully into a reasoned debate on the subject of breakfasts you could read the following:

The only time I have lemon and honey drinks is when I have a cold or flu and drink them before bed.
I love them as they taste great but only drink them when I'm sick.

As for breakfast I was just in a thread about this.
I'm all for breakfasts as I get hungry and snack if I don't eat it.

I think Vegetarian Meal Plan helps you a lot to lose weight easily and regular workout keeps you fit and energetic.
Hope that my advice helps you more. Try for vegetarian food my first recommends.
Yes indeed, vegitarian food and fruits are best health nutrition ,but what you say about health supplementary product which is made by natural and vegitarian product??

This is not the case in my experience.
A lot of vegetarian food contains cheese and some cheeses are very fattening. Some cheeses are very high in sodium... Cheese is one of the items that people watching their cholesterol are told to be wary of.

Fruit and vegetables can be very healthy (although preparation is an important factor) - but meat can be healthy too... In my opinion - every food item should be individually considered to see what it brings to the food plan.

If you enter food being considered into a tool like - you can see a nutritional profile of the food and check whether the various RDAs for protein, fibre, calcium etc have been met.

Hi Omega,
Vegan Food and Vegan Diet help anyone to lose weight and being active in life too. They are nutritious contain natural tonic.

No, it doesn't. Vegan food does not mean you are automatically going to lose weight, or even going to be healthy. That's nonsense.

It doesn't matter if you're a meat eater, vege or vegan, you need to eat healthy and exercise.

I couldn't give up meat myself

Hi Andyclissa

Rubbish!!!

Vegan food is no more healthy than non vegan food. It is the nutritional profile of the food that counts which includes both the calorie level - but also the fact that the RDAs are hit.

If you check my signature you will see that I am over 140 pounds lighter than I used to be.

I certainly did not eat a vegan diet to lose weight.

I am very active.
I will do 6 hours of zumba this week. I do a minimum of 4 hours zumba every week...
Looking back at last week I did 8 dance classes and also social salsa dancing on three nights.
I also do other classes and walk a lot.

How much weight have you lost using your methods?
How active are you?

Pistachios contain a lot of calories but also have a lot of health benefits so eating them in moderation should be fine.

Nuts are an excellent source for essential fatty acids and protein. But only a small handful at best is enough. As long as your on a calorie deficient diet containing all the essentials (vitamins & minerals, complex carbs, fatty acids and protein). As for correct Ph levels in the body a gallon of water is optimal. <spam removed>

For best results, you should be putting your highest carbohydrate diets on the days you perform your hardest workout sessions.

Teenage weight loss isn't easy is it? You might try taking 6 small snacks. It's probably not a good idea to do without meals. Just keep the metabolism nice and fast with small snacks.

Your breakfast might be better with protein. Porridge is good fiber for breakfast, but don't be afraid of bulking it out with eggs and ham and so on.

You're doing well with the jogging, though muscle weighs more than fat. But keep the jogging going, short spurts are good.

Unfortunately multiple small snacks do not effect the metabolism. That is a diet myth. Total daily calories are all that counts for weight loss.

Nobody in this thread said anything about teenage weightloss, that they were jogging or anything of that sort. I asked you before to stop with the random posts. This is the last warning.
