Hi Everyone,
I am east indian, and in the evening my family eats roti with dal or sabji can someone tell me if they are actually nutritious because I can't seem to find out how many calories a roti contains the numbers are way off on each site? And has anyone had any luck with losing weight by eating roti?
 
I actually did, in 2007, went from 210lbs to 160lbs. However, I didn't over do it. I kept the portions small and still was under my calorie limit for the day. I just avoided rice because in my family rice seemed to be the problem.

does your family make the roti? then you could figure out the calories for the recipe by using a recipe calculator and divide by the number of roti it makes...
