EAS 100% Whey

I know the brand is a huge name with alot of professional athletes.

I just finished a tub of it today. I don't think it's really any better than other stuff, and it's pretty expensive. I got another tub of a different brand that is twice as big for about the same price. No idea on quality; to me protein is protein, and the difference from one brand of 100% whey to the next is probably minimal.

after doing what i though was good economic research, it seemed pretty cheap. It comes out to about 57 cents per 30 gram serving. What do you get and how much is it. I would like to save money too.

LV, do you recommend the 100% whey, or the protein mix?

Both.

You can use the whey for your postworkout shake, since that is the time when you need it quickly absorbed, and the blend for night time or other times of the day for a sustained release and slower breakdown.

I'm just not crazy about the taste of their protein which is why I normally use ON but the quality of EAS's products are just as good as ON's.

i never worried much about the cholesterol much, but i will def keep it in mind next time.

limestix, which one were you refering to on price?

Thanks

EAS 100% Whey isn't bad at all. I've had it before. The taste isn't as great as others and it doesn't mix too well but I think its a solid brand.

I think 1 serving (scope) have like 30% of your daily cholesterol intake.... That was why I avoided EAS protein and went with ON.

That's no reason to avoid it, you just need to be cautious. The majority of cholesterol is synthesized in your body, and not from your diet.

Sorry haven't been checking back, I got some webber naturals 100% european whey... not sure what that all means, but it was like 25$ for a 2kg (4.4lb) tub. I got it at costco though, don't know if that chain exists outside Canada. Works out to like 20 something cents a serving.

But the EAS is good stuff, and personally I love the taste; this stuff doesn't taste quite as good. Unless the cholesterol is an issue EAS is a good choice.

ugh. I have EAS its nasty...but o well its good for ya ;)
