Earthquake!

We just had a pretty big earthquake in the bay area. It was a 5.6 in San Jose. We felt it pretty good here and we're 50 miles away form San Jose. It's the biggest one I've ever felt.

I was wondering if any other northern Californians here felt it.
 
Wow, I had no idea. I'm in Central California but I've got some family in San Jose. Hope you and everyone else is okay.

omg yea !! i was baby sitting at the time that sucked
 
oh my!! I was living there for the northridge quake. I was in Whittier and half of our apartment building fell. Earthquake is scary.

We get earthquakes here in so cal all the time..im just waiting for the "big one" since I practically live right next to/on the san andreas fault.

OMG you are so young. :) Its weird when you get to an age that you can recall what was going on when someone else of a significant age was born. I was in jr high in 1989 and I remember that quake very very well. Half the water of our pool flew out of it from rocking so much, and all our pool toys sloshed into the neighbors yard! I ran to the laundry room door jam.

We felt some little tremors here in the Sac area.
