Dutch newbie

Hello

I was looking for a good forum about exercising and toning and I think I found it. :)

I'm a ex-hernia patient, Dutch, 5'6 long and weigh 147 atm, although I'm busy bringing that back to the 136 I used to be before my operation. I'm engaged to a American whom I met in a online game and we've been living together for 7 months in total now. I have to go back to the Netherlands again in 2 months but we're looking into getting the fiancee visa next time I come back to the US.

Because my back still hurts a lot due to scartissue, it's pretty hard to really do anything. But ever since I bought a recumbent bike 3 months ago, I lost about 10 pounds. So I'm doing pretty well I think. I was getting tired of not fitting so well in my old clothes anymore and refused to buy new ones a size bigger. But they're getting more and more comfy again. ;) When I gain weight I get is everywhere anyway. so it doesn't show as quickly as when you only get it on your hips or something and I can keep on wearing the same clothes eventhough they still show a bit to tight at the waist.
I try to eat healthy all week but on sundays I normally slack of a bit and eat some icecream or something. 8)
I'm not to strict about anything and it's better to lose weight slowly anyway.

I wouldn't know anything else to write and the dryer is done so it's time to get that laundry out. ;)

Regards Chiara

Welcome to the forum.

And just so we know, what is an atm? The only thing I have been able to find is atmosphere, which I'm not sure how that equates to lb's (pounds)

pretty sure she means at the moment (atm), atmospheres are no way to measure weight, thats for sure:)

Hahaha, sorry about that.
I hang around on the internet to often and am so used to the short language they use. :)
Atm does indeed stand for at the moment. I did put everything down in American measures so it's easier for most people.
