dumb bell advice

hi im looking to get bigger arms and if been working out with dumbells of 15 kg
and doing 20 reps. on each arm two times every day.

my question is will this have any effect and if it wont have much effect how much more reps would i need to do to get some effect.

im 16 years old,weigh 198 lbs and am 6 foot tall

please advise :p :p :p
 
you need to get a rep system in.

you cant just do like 20 in the morning and 20 in the evening and consider worked out.

might I suggest doing reps of 10 OR 20 on each arm rotating until both arms have 100 reps done. thats what I'd do.

also if 15 is your max, then do 15 if you can, but it might be hard doing 100 on each, so keep it slow. and DO NOT go fast thinking its gonna be ok or whatever because your doing them wrong. Also dont use swinging actions of your body of any sort.

do this excercise every other day with a day of rest inbetween.


also dumbells dont give horrendous results of bigger arms, you might also try to work in bench press into your work out.

Want Bigger Arms? for my size, and age, Id say I have decently sized biceps, 14 1/2 inch bicep. What I did Was probably 75 Pushups a Day (Wrestling Practice) and Curls. I probably Curled back then.. 25 Lb. Dumbells and I did around,... 3 sets of 10 EVERYDAY and id say when I really started to workout on an everyday average, it took about .. 2 months to show an improvement, i went from having none, to being like, "Damn, hey dude check these guns out" so it just takes consistancy, form, more reps less weight=more cut (so ive heard) more weight, less reps=More Strength.
 
you might also consider working your triceps and fore arms while you are at it. Biceps by themselves look kinda funny.. kind of like a cartoon. You will also want to work you shoulders.. because eventually they wont be able to hold up your arms with the weight you will curl.
Ok for your curls.. try doing 3 sets with less reps. ALso give yourself a goal to increase the weight of your dumbells every 2 weeks for example.
