I decided to finally start a weight loss diary.

To catch you all up, I will say I began my diet weighing in at around 345lbs back in the end of October. Today I weighed in at 249 lbs.

Starting weight 345 lbs October 26, 2016
Current Weight: 249 lbs March 5, 2017 (131 Days)
Net loss: 96 lbs

Yesterday I ate:

Breakfast: McDonald Egg McMuffin and a Hashbrown
Lunch: Two Protein Bars
Dinner: 20 piece Chicken nuggets with sweet and sour
Snack through the Day: 4oz of Beef Jerky
Drink: About 1 Liters of Diet Soda through the day, and a few cups of water.
Exercise: None (I work out 20-30min every weekday, but so far never on weekends)


Today:
Breakfast: A protein Bar
Lunch: Another protein Bar
Dinner: Two bowls of noodles and pork
Snack through the Day: 6oz of Beef Jerky
Drink: About 1 Liters of Diet Soda through the day, and a few cups of water.
Exercise: None (I work out 20-30min every weekday, but so far never on weekends)

These are very typical meals for me. I really don't feel hungry with these meals, and I am getting good weight loss still.

I really hope I can get to my goal weight of 189 lbs by this year. I have been reading diary of people on here who were about as big as me, 340+ lbs and are now under 200. It really gives me inspiration to read their diaries, makes me think I can do it too, especially now that I am over half way there.
 
Welcome to the forum! We certainly do have a few members who started out at a similar weight and are now under 200. Very inspiring. :]
 
Here is a weekly update of my weight loss journey. Hit 100 lbs loss. In October 100lbs loss seemed like a distance fantasy. :)

Goal Weight: 189 lbs
Current BMI 32.3
Goal BMI: 24.9
Net loss: 100 lb

Yesterday I ate:

Breakfast: Thai Noodle Soup with Beef
Lunch: Protein Bar
Dinner: Rice with Spicy Korean BBQ Pork
Snack through the Day: 6oz of Beef Jerky
Drink: About 1 Liters of Diet Soda through the day, and a few cups of water.
Exercise: None (I work out 20-30min every weekday, but so far never on weekends)

Breakfast: Rice with salted fish, chicken, and tofu
Lunch: Protein Bar
Dinner: 20 Piece Chicken McNugget at McDonalds
Snack through the Day: 4oz of Beef Jerky
Drink: About 1 Liters of Diet Soda through the day, and a few cups of water.
Exercise: None (I work out 20-30min every weekday, but so far never on weekends)

I lost another 4 lbs this week. I have been averaging about 4 lbs a week for a little over a month now. I am still eating on average 1,700 calories a day, eventually this will lower to 1,500 calories as I get close to 189lbs. Also usually at what BMI does weight loss drop to 1 to 2lbs a week, I am really nervous about my weight loss slowing down to under 2lbs a week and getting discouraged.

Net loss: 103 lb

Weight loss is down to 3LBs this week. Not bad still. Still eating about 1500 to 1900 calories a day, and doing 30-40 min of workout Monday to Friday.

Weight loss is 3LBs again this week. Was averaging 4lb a week, hope this doesn't mean I am going plataue soon. Still averaging about 1,700 calories a day, and doing 30-40 min of workout Monday to Friday.
 
I doubt it means a plateau on the way. You are consistently losing & you are consistently working out & sticking to your cals. Well done DSMan!
 
Thanks for the replies. This I the farthest I have ever come in my weightless journey. Three years ago I was able to get down to 280, and it all fell apart. I need to make sure that doesn't happen this time.

Weight loss is back to 4LBs this week. Hope I can keep doing 3-4LBs a week until I get to 200 at least. Still averaging about 1,700 calories a day, and doing 30-40 min of workout Monday to Friday.
 
Wanted to do an update. I am still losing weight.

Net loss: 129 lb

Weight loss has slowed down a bit these past few weeks, but is still averaging close to 3lbs a week. Hope it keeps at around 3lbs a week until i get to 200 at least. Now averaging closer to 1600 calories a day, and doing 30-40 min of workout Monday to Friday.

If I can ask, what are you doing for your workouts?

Thanks for the comment. I am doing about 30-40 min moderate of cardio 3 Days, a week, and recently I started doing 20 min of cardio plus 20 min of Strength 2 days a week. The cardo is mostly treadmill. Until three weeks ago I was just doing moderate cardio 5 days a week, again mostly treadmill.

Net loss: 133 lb

Had a good drop this week, 4lbs. Very pleased. Hope it keeps at 3lbs or higher a week until i get to 200 at least. I am currently try to average about 1600 Calories a day, but this week I probably did closer to 1700 average. I am still doing 30-40 min of workout Monday to Friday
