no alcohol is the devil! LOL

One must live a little. Have fun.

Exactly what Kraken said. Man i drink heavily at LEAST once a week, usually twice or three times tho ;)

I still see results! My goal at present though is to realllllly cut down. Im soo determined!

Have fun my man!

I would NEVER preach that anyone quits drinking while training, because I certainly don't practice it myself.

However, there are a lot of studies showing that alcohol significantly effects your ability to burn fat and grow muscle. Not to mention that they're totally useless, empty calories and it's pretty difficult to get an instense workout with a hangover.

I still drink though, accepting the fact that it's ultimately going to slow down my progress.

hey if your are willing to be tortured by the Baptists at the pearly gates....

sheesh

good luck with that!

ahahahhaaah

dude- if you go drink and kill you diet, you can't blame me. and if you skip drinking and think you are suffering you cant blame me.

relas-- hook up with Marko and he will teach you a few tricks.

The reason my weight got to where it is... beer.

Now when I drink I take on double rum and diet cokes or gin and diet tonics, at 130 calories a drink (about the same as a beer) and twice the f-you-up ability...

Just suggestions.

(I drink 3 nights a week)

Cheers :beerchug:

I have to keep myself in check with how often I drink. I end up eating late at night to soak up all the booze then feel awful the next day from booze & food and no energy to exercise. :(

That said, I love my cider, Mojito's and Sangria (not all together!) I just try not to over do it. :)

Go out and have some fun with your friends!!!

When I was a police officer, and performed a traffic stop, and asked the driver, how much they had to drink, nearly every driver (like 8 out of 10 who has consumed) say a "couple", LOL. Everyones definition of a "couple" are different.

So when you say you have a "couple" is this "really" just two?

Any hoot, have some good times, but try to keep it in moderation. You can reach your goals if you are smart with it in your goal path.

ROCK IT!

Nothing beats homemade Sangria in the summer!

I have pretty much stopped drinking, No offence to people that do but it is a waste of money and alcohol is pretty much poison to your body.

I would rather achieve my goals faster than spend a morning talking on the big white telephone.

yeah but you can still have a life, its very rarely i go out and my friends have asked me soo, think im going to go out and just work twice as hard the following morning, and i ment around bout 5 / 6 pints or something.. nothing too bad

spenca as you come from the northeast of england i doubt it will be just a couple:D

Ive gone from 1 extreme to the other i used to drink ahelluva lot and now nearly nothing (except expensive red wine) therfore cutting my chances of affording it.

If you`re training my advice would be not to drink.

Its like 1 step forward and 2 steps back its the devils brew you`ll go to hell hahaha.

Do cocaine instead its much more user friendly:D

In my view. If one wants their personal goals "bad enough" they WILL do what "it takes" to get this accomplished.

If its eliminating alcohol, so be it.

If its eliminating bad habits, so be it. SEEK the tools undyingly to combat them, and one will win.

Bottom Line: If you want it, you will do what it takes.

Best regards,

Chillen

Fair play, just be carefull if you've stayed of the booze for a while that you havn't lost your tolerance. 5/6 would have been nothing to me last year, now I've turned into a right lightweight.

On plus side since I drink a lot less, I can afford to drink nicer beer!

Of course it is, are you serious phate?

Its not going to seriously affect his goals...

Have a good time, after all thats what life is about!
