Dosage discrepancies with Creatine

I have just purchased GNC effervescent Creatine sashets, HMB, and CLA tablets.

On the outside of the box it says I should have half a sashet (2.5 grams Creatine) with water after exersize, but on the sashet inside, it says a whole sashet with water after exersize. (I have been told I dont need to load with this product).

Am I better off having half a sashet after training and another half later on? Or am I better off having the whole 5g creatine at once?

Also, is it okay to have my why protein at the same time?
 
Wow, discrepancy on the same product...weird.
You shouldn't need more than 3g of creatine for maintenance. I'd just use half packets.
And yes whey at the same time is fine.
 
right, half of it would be fine.

and taking creatine with protein and carbs is better than taking it with carbs alone.
 
Is it okay to take it for the first time after a long run? I alternate between running and gym. Or is it better to wait until my body has recovered from the run?
