Weight-Loss

I'm new to eating healthy, I grew up with an awesome mom who always made me eat organic veggies fruits and never let me eat processed things (fast food once a year). Now that I'm out on my own I started eating fast food and well junk. I've found that I can still meet my 1,200 calorie goal each day even eating junk just less of it.... But how detrimental is this? Can you still lose weight if you eat the things you like in moderation, or should you forego all fatty fried foods? I got bloodwork done lately and everything was great even though my diet has been horrible, I suppose if I ate like this when I was older that would change.

I always like to say you can eat whatever you want, just in moderation, and PAY attention to your calorie intake. If you're on a 1500-2000 calorie daily diet, and you wanna eat a burger for lunch. Pay attention to how many calories that is and then compensate for your dinner and realize you have 800 calories left to spend.. It's like money.

I agree with you,..... Eat whatever you want but in moderation.

Hello!

I know there are plenty of food items we think might be healthy for us but they are not. You might be eating them thinking they are good for you but in fact they are keeping you from reaching your weight loss goals. I am here to warn you against these foods!

The foods I am about to list are full of fat, and not the good kind of fat, mind you! They have high levels of sodium, saturated fat and have additives that can undermine your health. Here they are:

- Coleslaw
- Frostings
- Packed Sandwiches
- Multigrain Products
- Sugary Cereals
- Diet Soda
- Margarine
- Packed Fruit Juices

I know you might have these in your fridge but you MUST throw these out and never bring them back if you want to lose weight and stay healthy! These foods lead to heart diseases, diabetes and hypertension.

Until next time, take care!

Regards,

Romulo
