Does it matter if I break it up?

Hi everyone.

i am just starting out and trying to build a fitness routine. I have about 60 lbs to lose.

I have a treadmill at home and have been using it everyday for the last few days. Feels great after (not during)!

Here's the question: Does it matter if I use my treadmill for 30 mins 2 X a day or if I use it once for 60 minutes? I think I recall reading that you burn fat after the first 20 mins. So, I am thinking that if I break it up into two 30 minute workouts, I would only burn 10 mins of fat per workour, or 20 mins total per day. Using the one 60 minute plan, I would burn fat for 40 minutes per day.

Maybe I am totally off on this recollection.

Does it matter how I do it?
