Sport does bananas make you fat?

Sport Fitness
im currently slim with some areas lik arms and tummy still needs working on.
basically my goal is to lose 5 kg and tone up my body by october.
iv been cutting down my calories and reverting to healthier snacks.
i eat about 2-3 bananas a day. even on days when i dont excercise.
is this going to lead me the wrong way ie making me gain weight?
ive heard bananas are high in calories and will make one gain weight if not eaten in moderation.
also sultanas have lots of sugar but they are natural sugar.
is eating too much of sultanas bad for you as well?

You should do for yourself and ignore hearsay. you can read.

The calories in a banana are digested slowly and help supply the body with a steady source of energy. Bananas are great for an energy boost if eaten about an hour before physical activity.

I really don't like how Banana's seem to get a bad reputation.

Bananas's are so healthy and have two things that might actually help you lose weight Resistant starch and prebiotic fiber.

I love bananas. The ones in holland and barret are nicer coated in yoghurt but I guess there not the best thing to eat though

the problem you're having is that you 'heard' something from someone else. Just check their fatcs.

that ws the first thing google had for me, if you're really worried about it check several sources to make sure all the numbers are similar. 200 calories in 1 cup (mashed), that sounds like a real good snack to me.

although bananas are one of the only fruit with fat, it's good fat.

Plus, bananas are a grat desert if you peel them and put them in the freezer. they get sweeter when they are in the freezer and can b great dipped in chocolate!:costumed1:
