I know the skin is supposed to shrink bank and continues to shrink for 6 months after refeed - but I am wondering if anyone feels they may need a nip and tuck afterwards????

Myself after 2 c/sections and a very large scar have loose skin on my tummy and now I have lost 25cms off my boobs but I think they are also about 10 cms lower than they used to be (sorry too much info there).

JUSt wondering how everyones skin is going??

Sharon, believe me, I know what your saying about your boobs. Mine have gone south and aren't where they used to be. I wont be having surgery although I probably could do with some on my tummy, inner thighs and throw in a breast lift lol.

I also think my skin will take a while to catch up with my weight loss.

I'm just going to continue to invest in great underwear that covers a multitude of sins. You can get control underwear that goes all the way up to the bra line. It gives a great shape and hides all the wobbly bits. and a great bra that gives me a lift!
I think everything will come back into line in time, so no surgery for me!

Hello
I too worry about the very loose skin..:( However i'm sure it will shrink, I joined a gym the other day and they recommemded to me to buy a dry skin brush, to brush my skin to help with fluid and skin elasticity. so I am getting one of those from the health shop.
Don't worry we'll all be hot mamma's soon enough. 7 days till weigh in .

I forgot to mention that the other thing I do is that I have bought exfoliating shower gel, and I massage my "problem" weight loss areas in the shower. I don't think it does anything in particular, but I do it in the hope of firmer skin and also to "encourage" those areas to "release" their fat.
OK, so its just probably just psychological, but it makes me feel like i"m doing something!
