Does anyone think its possible to make money on the net thru this?

Yes it is. There are a lot of ways to do it. I know people who do a lot of affiliate marketing. (making commissions for referrals to sales sites)
I make some money from selling advertising on a bunch of websites. (though it is not a ton) You either need a lot of sites or a couple great sites with a ton of traffic.
I have also sold / currently sell things via the internet. Using e-bay, craigslist, and my own online stores.
None of these things are my primary source of income. I got into them because I design websites, and learning all of the different possibilities, how well they work (and how fast results come) is a good idea.
It is like anything else. It takes time and work to get things going. Don't think that just putting something up will generate an income. Actually it most likely will not generate anything.
You still have the most important task of figuring out how to get people to your site and returning to your site. Once you have traffic the above mentioned methods will produce something. Until then, they will produce nothing.
Also remember, there are more scams on the internet that anywhere else. From sites like the one you posted to the "Paypal has found a problem with your account" emails that almost everyone gets. The people who have staying power on the internet generally have a good product, service, or content that a lot of people will use. Good online marketing. Good website design. A good niche in the online market. You see where I am going with this I hope.
About the link you posted. There are a lot of things like that out there. They are based on people giving 49.95. Here is how they work.
You pay 49.95, for that you get a website "pre-made just for you." At this point, if anyone finds the site, and spends the 49.95, you get some of the money and the person you bought from gets some of the money, and so on. So if you get a bunch of people under you to send a bunch of people the the "pre-made website" that they got. You will get a piece of the 49.95.
What are you selling??
Most of the time you are selling the opportunity for people to spend 49.95, and that is about it. Much of the time there is no "Our partner Company: The products being sold." If they do not tell you who the partner company is, there is probably not one.

cool thanks goergen1, im interested in making websites and designing them n that but i know nothing about marketing and promoting them, all i know is that you can add them to google, so they come up, but i have no idea how to get the websites to come up at the top of the list on the search engine

I'm glad you decided to steer clear of that scam - props to the members for helping you out there!
As for listing on google, they use a sophisticated program that determines how many other websites link to your website. I do training classes. My graduates will often reference my business and url on their web pages, which increases my google rating. If you type in the two key words of my business, I come up 3rd, which is fine for me.
