Does anyone else find "Mars Needs Moms" disturbing?

The big guy that lives on Mars reminds me far too much of the late John Candy.
He was a brilliant comedian whose lovable nature and characters, and strange charisma made him one of the few celebrities that made me sad when I heard about his passing.
When I saw the the preview for the first time, it bothered me.
I haven't even looked into whether or not they're crediting John Candy for this movie, but I'll look into it and edit this thread.
Good day!

I saw a quote from the director that that role would have gone to John Candy had he been alive. I don't know if they had him in mind when the movie was written or if this is a homage to him but it would be interesting to know. I LOVED John Candy. I seen him a few times when he used to film SCTV here in Canada. He was hilarious.
