Do your fellow gym bunnies annoy you too?

I basically come back from the gym everytime with some face on me ripping some dude or gal to my girl.

Things like guys with belts lifting tiny weight, can you say ONE REP MAX??

Folk camping out on the treadmills walking for twenty minutes :mad:

The wasters who leave machines and weights covered in their sweat :mad:

Bad form, like guys trying to do the whole stack on a latteral pull by keeping their arms locked and trying to sit on the floor. Bodyweight + Gravity = Not Greatest Workout. :mad:

Dudes who just stand in the mirror looking at themselves. Man I work my nuts off in the gym, 30-45 rest between reps. Get in, hit it hard, get home. :mad:

And all those bloody chicks checking my glutes out :mad: :p

Anyone else see things on a daily basis that just piss them off in the gym? Like the worst, gym 'training staff' who don't life a finger to point out poor form to someone who could end up hurting themselves...tsk tsk.
 
I've seen pretty much all the things you've mentioned going on at my gym too but, I don't think they get under my skin as much as they get under yours!! If anything, I find them pretty amusing (apart fromt he sweat on machines thing, that does annoy me!) If they want to waste their membership by walking on treadmills or staring at their reflection then, long may they entertain me by doing so ;)

Try to see the funny side, its less stressful :D
 
Fly - I've been on the treadmill and walked for 40 minutes before! A few months ago I broke my pelvis going to the gym and getting on the treadmill was a great way to moniter how fast I was able to walk (without limping) day to day. Now I can jog 5.5 miles :D I'm really looking forward to being able to run again....
Anways, my point is why can't other people use the equipment in the way they see fit? Maybe for them walking is a challenge. It was for me a couple months ago...

Yeah I walk on the treadmill as well after spiral fracturing my fibula! But if they are just walking for the sake of it. But then again it is a good place to start when people are new
 
biggest problem in my gym are the really big guys who think that coz they can lift the most everyone else is a 2nd class citizen.
