Do ellipticals cause dizziness + disorientation?

To any owners of Ellipticals, I tried a few Ellipticals at my local sporting goods store. They were mostly in the $600 -$1000 range.

After using one for 7 minutes and stepping off I felt slighly dizzy and disoriented. Is this normal for Ellipticals? If so is this something that you get used to then it goes away?

I'm mostly a runner and mountain biker and have owned a Nordic Track Ski machine. I've also used treadmills and I have never experienced this before.

Thanks

That's nothing I have felt before on an elliptical. Some less expensive ellipticals have short strides which make for a much bouncier workout so maybe that could contribute to the dizziness.
