Nope, it won't help you long term at all. keep your mind focused and stop thinking about short cuts. Weight loss is mental more than anything. It is making smart food choices, learning about food, knowledge my friend. Knowledge.
I agree. Its really about your portions, healthy food intake and being active. the basics burn more cals then you take in You can take a multivitamin but hydroxcut and alli etc is no good.
Yea. that's what I figured. But after 1+ yrs of trying to lose the weight I recently gained through exercise and diet, and nothing working, I am just getting desperate.
You should start by creating a food journal. Write down everything you eat everyday. Analyze it at the end of the day. I suggest you start calorie counting. It's not difficult and will really help you out. You should also you the bmr calculator on this site to see how many calories you burn a day. Then, simply cut out 500 calories a day. By simply doing that you can lose 1lb a week. Any exercise on top of that is just bonus!
You've come to a great place where support and motivation is abundant!
I already keep a food diary and watch what I eat. It's just that in the past year while I was trying to lose weight, I have rather gained 10lbs. I am very discouraged, especially at seeing the visible changes the gain is making. Would like any input.
You ate more than you burned..I can't make it more simple than that. There something in your diet that is too much and you need to take a hard and honest look at it.
