Dizzy

I am new to this site, so please bear with me if I do not post this correctly.

My question centers around the fact that I have been getting very dizzy for several weeks. Aug 11 2004 I weighed in at 246 lb. As of today I weigh in at 162lb. For the most part I have made this transition following Body For Life. Although I am happy with my weight loss results, I am not happy about the fact that I am getting so dizzy so often.
My guess was that I cut too many calories/carbs out, so I in fact went several weeks eating everything, and anything I wanted. The dizzyness went away when I was not eating right.
Also, around the same time I started to feel dizzy, was the same time I started NO2. When I wasn't eating right I also was not taking NO2, so it is very hard for me to make any correlations here. When I started eating right, I once again started NO2, the dizzyness came back.
Has anyone had any bad experiences with NO2(dizziness, etc...).

Thank you

Still dizzy

I am not taking the NO2 and I am still dizzy(rather light headed), for the most part of the day. I thought maybe blood sugar levels could be low/high, etc., but eating an orange, etc really makes no difference in the light headed feeling. Could it be that I am just not taking in enough calories?

Here is a typical day of eating for me:
9:00am-approx half cup oatmeal with table spoon of flaxseed/ 1 orange

11:30am-1 can tuna with table spoon mayo on a bed of raw spinach/ 1 small baked potato/4 carrotts

2:30pm- 1 EAS protein bar/ 1 bananna

5:00pm-3 oz tuna steak/1 small baked potato/ large spinach salad /oil and vineger

7:00pm-1 EAS protein bar/ 1 bananna

9:00pm-1 pack Myoplex protein mix(I mix this with 2 scoops whey protein) and I add a small portion of cooked oatmeal or 1 bananna

Thats it. I lost all my weight doing this. I lift weights 3 to 4 times a week. Looking at this eating plan I feel as though I should be getting enough food in me. I also take a multi vitamin, a fish oil pill and vitamin c. I also take a tablespoon of createne every day.

FYI: I am a male, 5'4 and weigh in at approx 162-165lb. Aug 11 2004 I weighed in at 246lb. I would like to get down to approx 145lbs, but am trying to stay at my present weight because of the light headedness at this time.

As I said, I feel good about losing so much weight, but this light headed feeling just will not go away. I also feel unsteady at times, with very little energy.

Any and all advice is welcome.

well this is what you need to do, first for the next week, your going to drink alot of water aproximatly 1.5-2 gallons a day. next if that does nothing you will need to check your blood pressure (too low or too high will cause this). you can do that at some pharmacys. if you do this at a doctors office get your blood sugar checked. most of the time this sort of thing does not need a doctor's visit, and will clear up on it's own. If I would have to guess you might have a low blood pressure , because NO2 will vasodilate your vains which is a good thing in most cases, but could explain why you get dizzy when you take it. anywho in a nutshell drink 2 gallons and post me next week, (it might not go away the first few days). o yes also use a little iodized salt on the potato, Good day to you sir.

almost forgot if your already drinking alot of water try the salt on the potato I know it sounds wird to you but I have a medical based idea for asking. you most likly do not need to see a doctor, unless it persists.

Thank you phladex. Yes, I am already drinking about this much water a day. I work in a school and have been having the school nurse check my blood pressure, which is 102 over 60, which I guess is low. I stopped taking the NO2(off it about a week) and I am still feeling light headed.

Welcome to the community and congrats on the weight loss.

My first comment is, IMHO, others in this community and close friends' experience...NO2 by all manufacturers is JUNK. Sales mostly built on hype.

This is in no way a flame to Phaledax, but I would suggest a doctor's appointment if your dizziness continues.

a flame?? you just repeated what I said which was if it continues (persists) see a doctor. and I am in no way shape or form supporting NO2 I just stated a possibility of what could be happening. and low blood pressue is usally below 90/60 and your's is 102/60 which is right close so that as I thought is the cause. my origonal post was still correct for Hypotension, so eat some iodized salt. 1 spoon full a day at least for the next week, if nothing get's better then yes see a doctor. phal out.

Thank you both for the info, I will go ahead and try the salt for a week.
