:cheers2: While I applaud the sentiment.... I just have to ask...
Is that really appropriate for a cartoon featured in hundreds of comics pages in newspapers everywhere?
I'd really have to say no, by precedent if no other reason. You don't see that sort of thing in any other comic strip... ever..... and never before in Dilbert, as far as I can recall....
but what do YOU think?

OMGsh! don't get me started on whats appropriate or not! I could gone forever! THis worlds "sex sells" mentallity is out of control!!! While I do find the comic inappropriate, lets face it, its seriously mild compared to things I've seen on TV. and you'd have to know what a 'mammory detector (sp)" is to understand the joke. I guess I'm so sensitive to the topic b/c I have 2 little girls, and so many things on TV are "up in your face" obvious to their sexually fueled commercials.

I'll try not to get carried away but heres two examples of stuff that makes me mad....

#1 some store had a comercial where a woman was getting out of the pool...of COURSE it zooms up on her inner thighs, butt and 'in your face' clevage...soaking wet, water dripping of her 'unmentionables' and reaches for a towel. Yea, the comercial was for thier sale on towels. REALLY??? the towel had a 2 second spotlight on the commercial.

#2 my daughters like to watch FULL HOUSE and for the mostpart, its a good show (although i've heard them cuss on the show before) ANWHO...there was a commercial for "degrassi" and it had some girls in the bathroom and when a purse got knocked over, someones dildo fell out!! One of the girls picked it up and was flinging it around saying "this isn't MINE!!" I sat there with my mouth on the floor!!

and don't get me started on those victoria secret commercials! lol

Times, they are a changing! Agree with Korrie; Not appropriate but you're only going to "get it" if you know what "it" is, ya know? And it's nothing compared to some of the shit you see on TV these days.

Examples!:

true... compared to TV and advertisements, it's isn't bad. But I guess I was sort of surprised at sort of corruption of one of America's cleanest and purist forms of entertainment. So long Apple pie, Hello, Devil's food cake... LOL

Am I missing something?
