I could not find any "whey" protien shake mix at my local store, but they had a bunch of "soy" protien shake mix. Is there a difference or is this the same stuff you are all talking about?
Soy protein contains less essential amino acids, will lower testosterone levels(up to you if you want that or not) and stimulates less anabolism than milk protein.

What good is soy protein if it is not anabolic? Is it still anabolic, but just less so than dairy protein?
I myself eat a fair amount of tofu, but I also eat and drink a lot of lean meat, fish, and dairy. I also get a fair amount of protein from nuts and whole grains.
