I'm thinking about buying a diet/energy pill. I'm not sure on which to get, I think it's between Redline, Hydroxycut, meltdown or Hot Rox. Any suggestions?

Diet pills have not worked for me.

ECA but only if your diet and training routine is 100% in check and has been for at least the last 6 months.

I usally hit the gym 3-4 times a week. I do the stationary bike for about 30 mins and some wieghts too. As far as a diet goes, I am not on any kind of diet YET!

then there's no point in taking thermogenics. you don't go 'on a diet'..you change your diet. until you eat clean and track calories to find your maintenance, you're just going to be going in circles.

Good point! Thanks for the information

i'd also like to add that

taking dietary supplements would only curb ur apetite, that is how you lose the weight, but once you stop taking it. My best guess is that you would gain the weight back again ...

it does help to give the metabolism a boost as well. But like LV and malkore said, if the diet and exercise arent pristine, you will just be wasting your money

my diet is pretty spot on, but I do take a couple Thermocin after lunch, mostly for an afternoon pick me up. a little herbal caffine and synephrine.

Do expect your heartrate during cardio to be higher on thermogenics, at least the first week you're on them. after that, you'll get a little more used to it your heart rate should normalize.

Well, I always say the diet/energy pill can only help if you are already helping yourself. So it cannot be your primary means for losing weight. Many trainers I know, would recommend Hydroxycut, in addition to healthy diet and regular exercise. I would also recommend CLA and I personally used to take a Green Tea energy pill, which was natural and provided me with great energy.

Ive never tryed any of them. Had Lipoo 6 and that worked well.

Ive just finished my 1st ever cutting phase using ECA. Ive never tryed it beofre but it worked very well. However as LV said you gotta have everything down perfect beofre you try.

Remember that they are suppliments not magic pills. You really must do your research on ECA boefor you start. You could easily give ur self a heart attack if your not 100% in the know.

I've also tried Lipo 6 and it makes me get very sick, and seems my food doesnt digest as well either. But that's just me, supposedly it works great.

True - some ppl think that they are magic pills that make u thin. But the side effects are massive. They make ur heart race all day which is pretty tough. I got put of my food a bit - thats the appetite suppressant, its just makes u feel ill.

I have tried CLA, and love it. They say it has other health benefits too besides helping with fat loss/ muscle maintenence. I am in pretty good shape, but tend to loose muscle mass really quick because of all the cardio I do, so I take that to help maintain my muscle, and it seems to work.

OK< I could be way off here... But simply not eating, doesn't that cause your body to begin storing fats? So is an appetite supressant really usefull, or is it kind of contradictive? I was under the impression that it's more important WHAT you eat. Of course over eating would be a problem too...

Just curious. I have a broken collarbone right now and can't lift weights, but I can still do cardio fine so I figured the next 2 months are a good opportunity to burn some fat.

the idea behind appetite suppressants is to keep you from eating extra.

however, I don't really see the need, since one should be eating every 2-3 hours in the first place...you really shouldn't get hungry, until its time to eat again anyways.
