Sport diet question....need help

Sport Fitness
im 16, almost 17...and all of my life...i've never been able to do a really good diet for muscle and fitness and health, because i hate EVERY vegetable but mashed potatoes, and almost every fruit, although i do eat apples and bannanas every now and then. mostly for me, it's breads, meats, and soups, basically anything but veggies and fruits.

i have found lately, that with a blender, if i blend bannanas up, and drink it like a smoothie, i can eat it just fine. the thing i dont like about the fruits and veggies isn't the flavor, it's the texture of them that bothers me about them. do you guys think this would be a good way to get onto a good, healthy diet? becasue although i'im in fairly good shape, it gets me thinking, that i could be in so much better shape, if i just had the proper healthy diet and nutrition. thanks for the advice and suggestions guys.

Its perfect. You don't lose anything, and in fact you can gain nutrients if you have a blender that can handle some fruits/veg with the skin or peel (granted you wind up using more fruit/veg to get the equivalent juice). (Like cucumbers, apples, etc) A lot of the nutrients in fruits and vegetables are found on the inside of that peel you throw away, and they're usually easier to eat when they're blended in with the rest of the fruit.

Short of that you can take a multi vitamin. But the smoothies are natural and more ideal, plus they'll get you the carbs and sugar you need that a vitamin may not. Don't load up at one sitting... try to take a shake twice or even 3 times a day at different times. Your metabolism can process the concentrated liquid much faster than the solid fruit or vegetable.

Stay away from those steamer or high powered (fast) juicers. They kill nutrients.
