Sport diet plan trouble

Sport Fitness
I'm trying to organise a diet plan for bulking. It's not very organised right now, I'm just trying to sort out the total amount of food per day, but I'm unsure over the values that it represents.

my stats are 175lbs, 6'1, 18 years old. fast metabolism. don't know bodyfat %.

the diet I have come up with gives me...
2880 cals
203g protein
306g carbs
101g fats

(this is without including the dinner that my mother makes, since it changes every day).

my concern is that it is too high in protein, and too low in calories. (Calories especially!)

Can anyone advise me on how to tweak these values to something more appropriate?

protein looks fine, possibly even low. remember only complete proteins - those from animals or dairy sources - count towards the 1g/lb of bodyweight goal.
vegetable protein is incomplete, as are beans, fruits, and grains.

Mom's dinner is likely another 600 calories, which puts you at 3400 a day. That's a good place to start. If after two weeks you aren't gaining weight, up the calories 10%.

What is also important is the timing of your macronutrients. How do you plan on breaking down the calories during the day?

I haven't been worrying too much right now about how I'm breaking the nutrients up, as I wanted to sort out the "what" and "how much" before worrying about specifics. So in other words I don't yet know how I'm gonna break it up...but I will :)
