Diet Pills

What can you tell me about the recently approved over-the-counter diet pill?:action3:

Which one is it? Where? US?

I can tell you there are exactly 2 diet pills that work on the market today and they both have very undesirable side effects...NOTHING else works, things such as a hydroxycut have some serious problems such as causing damage to muscle tissues etc.

1) Sibutramine (such as Meridia) - only about 5-8% weight loss. It targets appetite. It can cause headaches, nausea, insomina...and it's about $170 per 30 tables.

2) Orlistat (such as Xenical) - i forgot the % (around 5-10lbs) but it's around there too. Contains this little enzyme called Lipase, chops your fat molecules ingested in half so they get excreted. This is where it gets intense: this pill may cause uncontrollable bowel movements causing diarrhea (and when I say diarrhea I mean some serious stuff) and it's about $180 for 84 tablets.

Both of these will not work unless you control your diet...so the unpleasant truth is that weight can only be achieved through you and not external sources such as pills. Unless you are willing to undergo expensive, bariatric surgeries...
