Sport Diet guidelines?

What is a good, effective diet? I know, I know, eat healthy and exercise but does anyone have any specific guidelines that tells you what to eat and how much, how much to exercise and which exercises are most effective? My brother wants to lose 40 pounds in six months and he keeps failing so if you could give me a website or personal story that isn't too difficult, that would be great. Thank you much.

Since your brother knows how much weight he wants to lose, I suggest he tries . It’s like a MySpace for people who want to lose weight - he can talk to thousands of friends, find useful articles, and a great program that allows you to enter your target weight and shows you the calorie limit you need to stick to. They also have a diet and workout planner. I’ve been using it for months to plan my meals, and it’s worked great for me .
