diet/exercize plan relieve constipation and tone up?

hiya, i would like to know if anyone knows anything that will help constipation? any excersizes or diets? i have always suffered but recently it has become a bigger problem and im gaining a lot of weight, i'm not sure if its related, i just want to see if it's possible to tackle both problems at once. i am 56 kilograms i am normally 52. thank you x
 
Two things you can do to help constipation is drinking a lot of water and adding fiber to your diet. Fortunately, both of these will also help you lose weight.
 
Try walking more as well. If the problem has gotten worse since you started trying to lose weight then you might be cutting out too much fiber. Things that are good, Prunes, bran, milled flax seed, oats, more fruits and veges, and lots of water. If none of that helps then try taking something like senna or milk of mag. If you haven't gone for 5 or more days or your abdomin is distended or you have started vomiting then see your Dr. right away. If you have any medical problems then check with your DR. about taking over the counter remedies.

And yes you can lose weight and improve your constipation problem by following a healthy diet. look around this sight and you will find the information on how to calculate the amount of calories you need to take in to lose weight.
 
I used to poo VERY VERY rarely when I just sat around.
Just have a nice bowl of fiber, or some fiber drinks. There's loads of foods:

prunes, oranges, pears, sweet potatoes, green vegetables, carrots, and peas,
 
Making sure you drink enough fluids such as water may help some people with constipation. Fluids make bowel movements softer and easier to pass. Apart from this, a diet low in fiber may also help reduce constipation. Try wheat bran, brown rice, or whole grain bread. Just try this and see how it works
 
Kiwifruit - my daughter has a major problem and just eats kiwifruit. 6 will really make you go bad lol.
Any movement like walking fast/running/etc or things that get your HR up help a lot. But as others say, drink drink drink, and eat more vegetables!
 
thankyou all, i will be trying all your tips, i've been eating bran flakes daily for the last 6 days and doing 30 mins of jogging, i will continue all that now with the new tips! thanks a bunch guys x
