Hi, hopefully i have posted this in the right section of the forums. If not i am sorry.

I am a 24 year old male and my hight is 5 11 and at christmas time i way 12 stone 6 and had very little muscle so i thought that i should lose some weight so i started eating more healthier. i was eating 3 meals a day, cereal for breakfast, for my second meal it would be either tuna or ham in a sandwich or more than likely it would just have been canned tuna on its own. My last meal would be half a chicken breast (felt too full if i ate a full one) and roasted veg or sometimes i would have had less veg and a potato.

I didnt count calories i just ate healthy until i was full.

I was losing weight and at the start of june i weighed 11 stone and 1 pound. i was happy with my weight but i couldnt see where it had gone from and my waist/bum/thighs were all the same size they were before i started (these areas were the areas i wanted to lose in) and i havnt lost anything since then

Anyway i checked how many calories i was eating each day and it worked out to be as low as 800 and as high as 1200.

I had no idea i was eating as little calories as this and i thought that after i lost the first stone my body was holding on to what it had as it thought i was in starvation mode. Is this right?

Anyway i would like some advise on what to do next?
I would like to lose a bit more weight as i am still a size 38 in jeans but eating 800-1200 calories just doesn't seem enough.

Do i up my calories just a little at a time? I dont really want to put all that weight back on. Also i did very little exercise and like i said didnt have very much muscle. I have just bought a bike so i am going to start riding every few days

thanks

I think you probably do need to eat more.
and honestly, I hate stones!
throw me some numbers in pounds, and I'll do a bit more homework for you!
